Getting to know each other
We know getting to know someone can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Open Door a great one!

Open Door meets every Sunday morning at 10:45 & evening at 6:00.
LOCATION
Open Door is located at 1200 N. Tucker Ave. in Shawnee, OK.
What to expect
HOW LONG IS A SERVICE AT OPEN DOOR?
In total, a service usually around 90 minutes. We open with a quick encouragement from Scripture and Prayer. Then the Open Door worship team leads the church in praise and worship. The lyrics are projected on a screen so that you can follow along and engage in worship with everyone. We believe in expressive worship because God is worthy! After the praise and worship portion of our service is over, Pastor James will lead the church in a time of financial giving, share a few announcements about things going on at the church and then share a message from the Bible that will probably encourage and challenge you.
WHAT’S THE CULTURE LIKE AT OPEN DOOR?
Sunday’s at Open Door are focused on lifting up the name of Jesus. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
We believe that kids should enjoy attending church every single week – and at Open Door, we make this a priority. The other priority is your children’s safety. Because of that we have a detailed check-in process for our Open Door Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for Open Door Kids. Open Door Kids is offered during the church service every week for kids ages infant through Grade 5.
